Sep. 2013 – Tough Mudder Toronto

September 27th 2013 was a beautiful clear day…perfect for getting muddy! Wishes for Olivia put together a team of 12 pain-seeking individuals, The Cinder-Hell-Yeahs, who were determined to conquer what can only be described as the world’s toughest obstacle race.

Carolyn, Chris, Cynthia, Erika, Glen, Jason, Jennifer, Kate, Lexy, Nikki, Sandra, and Turner all showed up in flaming pink tutus, just as Olivia would have wanted it, ready to take on this hardcore 10-12 mile long challenge. With strength, stamina, mental grit, and camaraderie, the team overcame over 20 “interesting” obstacles such as the Arctic Enema (ice bath), the Mud Mile (self-explanatory), Everest (a sprint / climb up a skateboard ramp), and Electroshock Therapy (a sprint through hundred of live wires carrying up to 10,000 volts).

The team split into two groups, with Team 1 making it across the finish line in 4 hours 30 minutes, and Team 2 blazing through with an eyewateringly wonderful 6 hours on the clock.

Even better, they finished relatively unscathed and determined to do it again next year, with an astonishing $12,471 raised for Make-A-Wish Foundation of Canada.

Are you going to join them next year? The Cinder-Hell-Yeahs are looking for fundraising teammates for September 2014. Are you up for it? Inquire below if you want more information:
